The Government denied my petition to Stop Kentucky Fried Cruelty in Shoreditch

I'm really not surprised. But I think it's best to show my readers why the KFC petition was taken down. This is the E-Mail they sent me.

We rejected your petition “Stop KFC from moving into Shoreditch London - London doesn't need another KFC”

Petitions: UK Government and Parliament

Dear Alexander van Terheyden,

We rejected the petition you created – “Stop KFC from moving into Shoreditch London - London doesn't need another KFC”.

It’s offensive, nonsense, a joke, or an advert.

We can't accept your petition because it's about something the UK Government or Parliament is not responsible for as they do not take decisions about the location of food outlets. In any case, we could not accept your petition because of the statements you make about local children.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards: https://petition.parliament.uk/help#standards

If you want to try again, click here to start a petition: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/check

Thanks, The Petitions team UK Government and Parliament

The UK Government doesn't care about your health or the welfare of the little man on the street

Apparently if you point out that the local kids will be even more unhealthy because KFC is coming to town then they will reject your proposal for a petition. The UK Government relies on big business to prop up it's Ponzi Pension schemes so I'm really not surprised that the UK Government would stand in my way of voicing my concern over KFC rather than being there to support the little man.
